By accessing or using the Laser Knight website or submitting an order request for custom laser-cut wood art, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the site or place an order.
2. Description of Services
Laser Knight creates custom laser-cut wood art pieces, including 3D lake maps, wall signs, and logo pieces. All items are made to order based on the details you provide. We operate as a small studio in Neenah, Wisconsin and do not have a public storefront. All orders are shipped directly to you; there is no local pickup option.
3. Ordering & Payment
- Orders begin with an order request submitted through our website form or via direct communication.
- Dan will review your request, confirm design details, pricing, and estimated turnaround time with you personally.
- Payment is accepted via PayPal or Venmo. Full payment is required before production begins on your piece.
- Prices are subject to change at any time, but confirmed quotes will be honored for the duration communicated with your order.
4. Custom Orders & Production
- All pieces are made to order; we do not maintain pre-made inventory.
- Production begins only after your design details are confirmed and payment has been received.
- Turnaround times vary depending on complexity and current workload. Dan will provide an estimated timeline when confirming your order.
- Minor variations in wood grain, color, and finish are natural and part of the handcrafted nature of the work.
5. Shipping Policy
- We currently ship only within the United States.
- Shipping is included in all listed and quoted prices; there are no extra shipping charges.
- We do not offer local pickup. All orders are shipped to the address you provide.
- You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not liable for delays or losses resulting from incorrect address details.
6. Refunds & Satisfaction
- Because each piece is custom and made specifically for you, orders are generally non-refundable once production has begun.
- If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it. Include photos and a description of the issue.
- Dan takes pride in his work and will make a good-faith effort to address legitimate quality concerns, which may include repair, replacement, or another mutually agreed solution.
7. Intellectual Property
- All original designs created by Laser Knight remain the intellectual property of Laser Knight unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- You may not reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit Laser Knight's designs without prior written permission.
- When you provide reference images, logos, or other materials, you confirm that you have the right to use them and grant Laser Knight permission to use them solely for creating your custom piece.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Laser Knight will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or purchase of any products, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, or data. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site or placement of new orders after changes are posted indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
